Our mission is to remove the stigma associated with mental health and openly talking to kids who are struggling. The snowboarding community has always been a place that exudes love and support most people use snowboarding as an outlet. It needs to be known that the snowboarding community is backing everyone no matter what. On and off snow, we need to support one another. The friends I have lost have devastated me beyond words. We can be the change and show these kids that struggling is normal and to be vulnerable with their friends is as important as landing their runs in competitions. Asking for help is a very hard and brave thing to do. Support is always available and mental health is as important as physical health. We just need to start the conversation in any way possible to take away the stigma around mental health because we have already wasted too much time.

My name is Pippa Scott, and i started this charity because I started snowboarding when I was three and started competing when I was six. Snowboarding has taken me around the world, helped define me as a person, and taught me many life lessons. When I was thirteen and covid started, my parents received an email saying that Peirce had died due to suicide. I wasn’t very close with him because he was on the ASTC East team, and I was on the ASTC West team, but being from Vermont, knowing we were on the same team and had the same roots, it hit close to home it was hard to process at such a young age. Then when I was 14 and in 8th grade, I lost someone who I loved dearly. I was on the same team as Eli  Mcdermit for two years when I was 16 and in 10th grade, I found out that one of my classmates and a fellow teammate had died due to suicide. My heart is heavy for Lucas.
